Another victim

I am just another victim of IndiaPlaza’s dishonesty. Earlier I purchased one or two items from their website, and though the shipment was late, I got the items I paid for. But this time I know, why so many people are against them.


Here it goes...I bought a 2 CD-set of Yesudas about two months ago. They sent me a wrong CD of the same singer. I immediately let them know about their mistake but got no response from their side for an entire week. They don’t pick up their phone and that always goes to their answering machine. I did not leave any message as I was doubtful if they ever check their messages. I mentioned in my email that I would cancel the transaction through my credit card company if I hadn’t receive an answer from them within 5 days, and so I did. Wow, then magic happened. They contacted me through email the very next day requesting to return the wrong item along with a form they attached to the email. I did that the same day. Then....


My only fault was trusting them. I thought that they would ship the correct item once they receive my returned CD. I did not even think that somebody could deny that they received an item that was sent to them as soon as requested. I did not even think that somebody could deny that they received an item that was sent to them at the buyer’s expense even though it was their fault. Well...I was wrong, ....and yes, stupid. Anyway, I emailed them right after I shipped the wrong CD.


After about two weeks, a letter came to my address from my credit card company saying that IndiaPlaza let them know that they did not receive my shipment, so they are lifting my charge back.


I contacted IndiaPlaza asking them if they received my item or not. They did not answer it directly but told me that if I take back the charge back, they would ship the correct CD set. Anyway, I told them that that was taken care of. They said they would ship the item within four business days as they did not have the item in stock at that time. Well, that four days passed, four weeks have passed and I still have not received the order.


Yes, I’ve learned my lesson. No business with IndiaPlaza, ever!
