I really, really wish I had read the reviews on Mouthshut.com before getting entangled with Indiaplaza.com.
Alarm bells should have rung when the prices were really low compared with other online shops. But then, I’m a gullible fellow, I guess. I was further conned by the "Welcome" email from the founder and CEO of Indiaplaza.com.
But being a_clever_ gullible follow I raised a ticket on there website and enquired if the two items I wanted were in stock. The exchange went something like this:
**me:** *Do you have products’X’ and’Y’ in stock?*
**ip:** *We have’Y’ in stock. Item’Q’ is not in stock. You can follow the link and click on "notify me."*
**me:** *I am not interested in item’Q’, please let me know if item’X’ is in stock.*
**ip:** *Item’X’ is in stock. Item’Q’ is not in stock. You can follow the link and click on "notify me."*
Not a good start, but whatever, everybody has a bad day!
I went ahead and placed the order of’X’ and two days later for’Y’. Goodbye, money! Hello, frustration!
It’s now more than 10 clear "business" days(listing says "Normally Ships In 7 Business Days") since placement of my orders, and there is no sign of them having bothered to ship the items. My’tickets’ are unanswered for the past several days. I see no reason for delay if the items are in stock. Was it wrong information on the website and their online system? I wonder!
I think that they keep the money with them for some time(10 days, 1 month, whatever.) and earn interest on it before actually ordering and shipping the items. Hence the low prices. In some cases(as many reviewers here have written) they return the money after several weeks.
While all this is happening, some guy from Indiaplaza.com calls and tries to convince me that the items will be shipped ONLY after 7 days and not before that, though the items are in stock. Maybe my English language teacher didn’t teach me properly. it appears I’m incapable of understanding simple statements in English.
Hey Indiaplaza.com don’t bother writing in, just ship the damned items I ordered ASAP. My order numbers are: I07111200334 and I05111200288.
