I ordered a set of books worth Rs. 800 from Indiaplaza(Order ID IN1809110487 and IN1809110507).
I called them a week later since the order had not been dispatched and there were no updates. I wanted a reply, and was expecting one.
INSTEAD: I had to wait for 14 minutes(You read it right. 14 minutes on STD charges) for a customer care agent to attend to the call.
What happened next: I am told that the book is not available and it won’t be delivered before 21 days. I shouted at them and asked for a refund of the amount. They said it would be done within a week. About another book which had not been dispatched, I was told it would be delivered the "next working day". Today being a thursday, I cannot fathom how a courier would come to Kolkata from Bangalore in 1 day. The whole experience was Loathsome. I have developed a phobia about online shopping from this experience.
On another note, I used the Freerecharge.in coupons for the purchase, and this is the only thing motivating me for shopping here. Now, I just wish that these thieves would return my money and send me the remaining books soon.
PLEASE AVOID THIS SITE. Some of the products might seem to be cheaper, but the service is really bad. Try infibeam, ebay or flipkart.
These guys suck and steal.
