It has been a long time since I wrote a review. Today I feel that I should not wait anymore to write this one- otherwise I may feel bad about myself for not sharing an information that could have saved your time and money.
I ordered a toy from Homeshop18 as a gift to my niece who turned 2 years old last week . The order was placed on Monday, June 17, 2013.They sent the item on the same day via Indiaontime exptress pvt ltd.(AWB number 75004128636). I was not familiar with the name but felt happy about the name "India on time". The item reached its destination (Cochin) on 19-06-2013. The tracking system says it was "out for delivery " the same day itself. But it was not delivered to the recipient, but the status was updated in the tracking system as " undelivered due to bad weather".
The item was not delivered for the next two days. So I tried to contact their office and found out that they have a face book page. I posted my issue there and got a reply to contact their Cochin office. When called to the Cochin office, they said that they had already gone to that destination for another delivery, so it is difficult to go there again the same day, but can deliver the item latest by Saturday. We made many phone calls after that including the one that was made yesterday. They keep telling that the item will be delivered shortly.
Unfortunately, those guys have not bothered about delivering the item till today. It is sad that my niece missed a birthday present due to the unprofessional and irresponsible behavior of the guys at India on time courier service. I have taken a decision that, in the future I will make sure that any item that I order from online stores will not be send via this courier.
So don´t get fooled by the striking name "India on time" that radiates timeliness. If you want your parcels to reach its destination " on time", then please look for alternatives.
