My SpiceJet flight SG 210 ( PNR: EDU1WW) from Mumbai to Patna on 27th Sept 2025 was suddenly cancelled under the excuse of a “schedule change.” I had booked my ticket via MakeMyTrip for around ₹6, 000, and now the only fares left are ₹10, 000 .
What’s even worse is the zero support from MakeMyTrip in rebooking or offering any reasonable alternative. Both SpiceJet and MMT wash their hands off the problem and leave passengers stranded to pay double the price, even after booking well in advance.
This is nothing short of a scam – selling tickets cheap, cancelling at the last minute, and forcing customers to buy overpriced last-minute tickets. Shame on both SpiceJet and MMT for treating paying customers with such disregard.
If this is the standard of service, you should stop calling yourselves “customer-centric” companies. It’s nothing but daylight robbery in the name of air travel.
