We have selected maternity package of standard room and they have initially told total package cost was Rs 65, 000/= for C-section.
Shockingly total bill for maternity was close to Rs 85, 0000/. Malathi Manipal charged even for baby fatel monitoring(aprox 2500/=). It should be part of the package and its obvious that during delivery they were suppose to monitor it. Hidden charges are so high(more than Apollo and close to Fortis or Rainbow) but srevice is very poor and not even worth the 40K.
Room condition was so pathetic(We have stayed in First floor Room. No. 8). AC didnt work for first 2 days.
Canteen food not delivered on time. Every time we need to go and request. Intercom line was not working.
Nursing staff is irresponsible. Since maternity ward is not separate nursing staff takes it granted.
Except for one or two staff all are non co-operative.I suggest if u r planning delivery in Malathi Manipal then BIG NOOOOOOO.
