Go creasy

This book was one that I came across quite accidentally. Normally earlier I used to read the works of selected authors only, unless recommended by friends. So what was it that made me go near this book. Its title. The next step was to read the brief description on the back. Well it did the trick, and I walked out of Crossowrds, with this book in hand. On my journey home, back from work, I decided to give this book a peek. Hah, I only let go of the book, when it was time for me to alight, so engrossed I was on starting the book.

In brief, I’ll tell you the gist of it. Thats cause I believe that it is best left to the reader to get the best of the book by reading it on his/her own. Creasy, an ex french legionary, now a down and out mercenary arrives in Italy to his friend Guido’s place . Guido gets Creasy a job, to be the bodyguard of a businessman’s daughter. The girl, touches Creasy’s heart, in some ways and they form a bond. Then suddenly she is kidnapped. During the kidnapping , Creasy gets shot and is hospitalised. There he is told that this girl is found dead..but before that she was abused....

Creasy vows to get even.. You may think, that this is just another vendatta story. Yes , it is in a way. But the way it has been written, the characterisation of Creasy, the style of his executions leave you breathless. All along, you just keep thinking ..Go Creasy! One hell of a book, mind u. Left me asking for more and I went out and got myself all other books by this author. And I never regretted any buy.

unfotunately the movie was a letdown
