Wow, This car has high mileage. I got a max of 22 kmpl at 5th gear at constant 50 kmph with 2 persons inside. I get an average of 14.5 kmpl without AC and 14 kmpl with AC. I can overtake at 3rd gear at a steep incline, and at 4th gear can go as slow as 20 kmph without knocking. Simply superb car. The car has the best aerodynamic design among Indian cars. But the only discomfort is bad gear shifts as in other Maruti cars. You can hardly avoid touching the co-passenger’s thighs/knees if you are changing into first or second gear. Parking the car is never a hassle, you can smoothly move round the corners. Quite importantly, the car is good for ’settling-in’.
You almost walk into this car without troubling your knees to bend much. You get a good view of outside once you are inside the car. There’s no inside-the-bucket kind of feel which you get in sedans or many of the smaller hatchbacks(even the old ZEN). The person in the centre at the back seat can sit like other passengers without any inconvenience of shaft casing at their feet, unlike other cars of this segment, even Wagon R!
