If the showroom people ask you to buy acccesories, why do you buy them if you don't want? Accessories are very costly in Popular. It is cheaper to buy outside.

Recently there was a news on TV in Kerala that a man was taken as a guarantee for loans by ICICI for people all over India without telling him. He could not transfer his loans since some of the guys just dint pay up. ICICI is cheat
The salesman also charged me Rs 1200 as commission for registering my car although it was actually free. Popular sucks big time!!!
But I should add that I am not that satisfied with the dealer - Popular Automobiles Trivandrum. Although the third service is free, they charged me Rs 750, though I have also opted to have a one year service agreement. Their service on getting my car registered was also far from satisfactory.

17 kmpl is too high with AC at normal conditions. I get 14.5 without AC and 14 with AC in normal conditions (city + highway). But highway alone I got 22 kmpl once, at constant speed for about 100 kms (with premium petrol) at 50 kmph in 5th gear!!!
