Don't ever buy a policy

I am Nagesh Pawar policy holder "Life partner plus" # 389426339, I want to cancel my policy.


History  2009 - In Sept.2009 I have opted for a loan Rs.1, 50, 000 from Barclay’s Finance, with the check of my loan amount I had to buy a policy i.e. Max policy.


Agent Pooja Santosh sold me this policy" FORCEFULLY". I went to return the loan amount check that saying "i don’t want loan as well I don’t want the policy". Pooja Santosh and her manager assured me that I can cancel my policy once my Loan amount gets disburse, I waited and I called up customer support,


agent suggested me to visit Max office, I went to cancel the policy from Max office, I mate a agent Name - Vimal Pawar who said at that time policy will not be cancel.


He gave me resolution that "after 3rd year only policy can cancel as 3 years is the lock in period", and also he said that "i will not only gets my entire amount what I have invested I will be eligible for the interest till that time". He convey me in such a way that I agreed. Now when I am going to cancel the policy as I will finished my 3 years on Sept. 27, 2012, I need this money in urgent basis, Max agent gave me different resolution. And also I tried to contact my loan plus insurance agent Pooja Santosh and Vimal Pawar they are also not available.


Since 10 days I am trying to cancel the policy giving same reason, I called up customer support, they said it will get cancelled and gave email id "manager.services@maxlifeinsurance.com" to request, and also asked me to cancel my ECS, I have cancelled my ECS from Max, thane Branch. and emailed the same. Today I have received a email as reply from "manager.services@maxlifeinsurance.com"  stating policy will not get cancel,  and if its surrender I will only get Rs.19000 as I have invested Rs.60000. so even if your not happy with product or service you have to bare that. I am fed up with this, please some one help me.


These guys are harassing mentally and financially. I need this money in very urgent as my wife’s medical treatment.
