Yes we need to cancel the ECS proactivly by our bank and if credit card have ECS then cancel the card and issue a new one, i have done the same, i have submitted a application to cancel the ECS to MAX and to confirm the same i called up 1 day before my due date. Hi i am agree with you.... i have gon through the same issue and still no result found. Many friends of mine facing the same problem and they keep calling to service center but company dont bother. I think for this kind of company consumer court is the only way.
Yebhi dont keep their promises beware of it.
