Not only is reading a great fun & exciting at MS but receiving replies for our comments on reviews is really a pleasurable experience. Above all, isn’t seeing on screen our own reviews that too on an international website exhilarating ?
“A wise man has long ears ……” – Yes, our CEO Faisal does have long ears so that he is listening …….. to so many MSian’s advices, suggestions, offers, why even the blues and glues of the members are being taken care of by him ! It is an undeniable fact that today if lakhs and lakhs of people are admiring Mouthshut, IT IS due to Faisal’s incessant steps towards improvisation. “An Idle Mind is Devil’s Workshop ……” – Not even a single minute of my leisurely time is idle due to Mouthshut !! Whenever I am into the world of Mouthshut, I really really feel at home and thank you Faisal for absorbing me into your beautiful planet.
Well, now I am not going to go into the depth of a top to bottom analysis of Mouthshut as there are already 249 reviews on Mouthshut & I am proud to be the 250th !
What I love at Mouthshut
•Being a member of MS for nearly 2 years, what I admire the most at Mouthshut is that, its technology to identify the fake reviews and separate it from the genuine ones. Also, if any member gives negative or sarcastic or discouraging or spiteful comments over and over again, he is sure to be warned and his reviews would be banned if his wicked acts continued.
•Unlimited Reviews on Unlimited Products – Also the beautiful categorization of products under their respective groupings
•Rapid introduction of products as & when they are launched in the market
•Only website which covers A-Z everything on the earth ! U name anything, you could find it here at Mouthshut
•Excellent connectivity speed & very swift search facility
•‘Notifiers’ – I love this excellent tool of communication of notifying the writers about ratings assigned on their reviews and the comments written on them
•M2Ms – I’ve got friends from different parts of the country and even from different countries yaar !
What I hate at Mouthshut
M2Ms :
•Members who send brainless (I really feel embarrassed to use this expression) M2Ms – in fact I mean the ones that are being generated by members like “ZAHID” – I think MS should strictly prohibit this ! I doubt if he really is a genuine member ! Of late, his M2Ms to me have been a headache……. Mouthshut are you listening ?
Distrust:
•“DISTRUSTING” – Even without RRCing any of my reviews, the aforesaid MSian added me to his distrust list – Is it not absurd ? What does Mouthshut really mean by this concept of Distrusting a Member ?
Rating:
•Members who incessantly give daunting ratings – basically, I think the concept of ratings is more helpful to encourage a member to write more and more. But I strictly don’t mean that you need to give a ‘Very Useful’ rating to an absolute rubbish !
Commenting:
•The most important one is this section – recently I couldn’t control my laughter when I read a comment on one of my reviews as “Beautiful Review Beautiful Review Beautiful Review Beautiful Review Beautiful Review Beautiful Review Beautiful Review…………………” – When I sought an elucidation from this member, I was told that he had to compulsorily post a comment with minimum of 150 characters – Mouthshut will you please give the commenter leeway to express whatever he feels about a review? Even here why is this character-limitation ?
Are these reviews ?
•I hate Members who write just for the sake of increasing their MS points & those who stick on to writing just upto the minimum characters fixed by MS penning absolutely without any substance

•Most of the regular RRCers and writers would have come across this technical error. I wouldn’t say that this occurs always, but whenever the MS Contests are at its peak – its really a hell to try to rate a review and post our comments on it. I feel that every minute of our browsing time is precious !
A Few Humble Suggestions
Picture
•I personally feel that posting a picture should be made mandatory. This helps avoid creating too many accounts and with multiple accounts rating their own reviews 5 or 6 times making a fool of the other genuine members !
Hall of Fame
•I feel that better updations could be done at this section. For days or even months together, you could find the same set of members (just 1 or 2 would have been changed) – does it mean that these 6 or 7 are the only members who are the most popular at Mouthshut ? In fact there are lot of members who come up with beautiful reviews who’s writings receive overwhelming response. Many times it is sickening to get to know a few members focused here haven’t written a single review for quite a longer time ! Then Mouthshut, how do you plan to respect the regular writers ?
Best Debut
•Mostly members who have written many reviews within a very short span of time are frequently being listed here. But here too, better updations could be done to introduce more long-term & vastly active members ( I mean the most frequent writers ).
Hot Reviews
•The reviews listed here are undoubtedly excellent & highly informative. But instead of listing the same set of reviews for days together, more and more new reviews of new & good writers could be introduced at this section.
Star Writers
•Of course the Star Writers listed presently are no doubt really outstanding writers – but I could recommend really a lot of members who have completely abided by the Star Writer Guidelines. Why I am saying this here is, a few of the present Star Writers haven’t written a single review after mid 2004 (remember it is now mid-2005) or written just 5 or 6 reviews or something like that !
•If the number of characters in a review is increased to 12000 I would be more than happy !!
I take this opportunity to sincerely thank Mouthshut for revealing my own hidden scripting talents to me and I do recommend this beautiful site to one and all …!! But BEWARE …… You will for sure get addicted to it like me !
