It was quite sometime that I have written a review on MS. After watching this movie I really wanted to review this on MS.
The chemistry between Mr. Prakash Raj(Producer) and Mr. Radha Mohan(Director) has worked again. They have exhibited a thorough understanding of what an “average-film-goer craves for” – Genuine Entertainment.
While many of their contemporaries advocate “Obscene Escapism” as cinema, this Duo has brought “Sensitive Realism” on screen. They have successfully walked the tight rope. Yes, they have made an artistic movie that can sell too.
Hero of this movie is the Screen Play and Heroine the Dialogues. There is no exaggeration or fabrication in characterization. Characters live by themselves and perform naturally. Casting is immaculate. Background score is sweet and subtle.
There is no designated comedian or villain. The sequence of events actually creates the comic situations and brings out the best of talented actors like M.S. Bhaskar and Brahmanandam. You cannot single out one performance as the best because every artiste has delivered his/her best.
Prithivi Raj – versatile; Prakash Raj – spontaneous; Jyotika – lively; Swarnamalya – mature and Direct Radha Mohan – Out Standing.
A sincere effort, born out of real passion towards the art of film making, has resulted in a poignant movie – Mozhi.
In short Mozhi is a simple and straight forward movie that has revived Tamil Cinema.
