I was a happy MTS(Karnataka Circle - Bangalore) user for a long time until I decided to convert my Post-Pay connection to Pre-Pay.
I requested for conversion of my Post-pay to pre-pay and the customer care executive said will be done in 48 hrs, and that my dongle will get De-activated and I have to submit documents at any nearest MTS store to convert it to pre-pay. Till this date they are generating bill, although my dongle is inactive.
I have written several emails but to no avail and they keep on sending notifications and today I received a communication that legal action will be taken for non payment.
I’m not going to pay my bill for the services I have not availed and I’m planning for a action against MTs in the Consumer Court for unprofessional and illegal activities.
Here is the mail that I have written to the appellate and nodal body today as my final communication. Please suggest if it is a good idea.

Data Card No. 8182935519. I made a request on Oct 7, 2014 for my postpaid connection to be converted to Pre-paid, and I was said that the dongle would be deactivated within 48 working hours and I can go ahead with pre-paid subject to documentation. After noticing that it didn’t happen and I had to call the customer care again on Nov 3, 2014 to request the same. And the reason of not doing the conversion earlier was replied by "SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE, SIR". And again it was said the dongle would be deactivated in 48 hours. Hence if my dongle is deactivated why is there bill generated every month? My final outstanding was never settled fairly. I’m willing to pay till Oct 9, 2014, but beyond that not a single penny.
I have repeatedly communicated about considering my MTS bill AND TO STOP GENERATING BULLSHITS.
This is not my fault that I have an outstanding to the tune of Rs. 1665/- and as communicated earlier under no circumstances I’m going to pay for services that I have not used.
You can go ahead with your legal action and I have my own ways of communicating. This would be my final email before I take action against MTS. I’m not a person who is not good for Rs 1665/- but what is illegal is illegal. I would request you to look into this matter ASAP.
