Hi Have been using MTS MBlaze from last 8 Months in Delhi & NCR and hoping my review will help you to take an informed decision to buy this product.
Pros:
You can connect 5 devices simultaneously however this will impact the speed to every device as the total speed will be divided in 5 devices.
Portability: This device is really portable. I carry the Mblaze dongle in my pocket all the time.
Data limit: A plus point in the plan I have. mine is 999 Rs / Month plan which gives me 20 GB in day and 20 GB in night. since I bought this device, I used full quota only once.
Cons:
Poor Network/Speed: Although MTS promise speeds UPTO 9 MBPS but in reality you should consider yourself lucky if you are getting speeds upto 1 MBPS(Which is highest I have got in last 8 months). Network also is poor. Sometimes I have to sit in my balcony to get proper network even when my house is on 3rd floor.
Worst Customer service: I had to make hundreds of calls to the customer service regarding the issues I am facing with the speed and network but every time I just receive an assurance that somebody from the network team will call me to fix the problem. Nothing happens after that.
I even threatened to cancel my connection in order to get them up from their deep sleep and action on my complaints but they are least bothered about customer retention. They will happily take the cancellation request and cancel the connection.
Overall, it’s been worst 8 months I have had with any ISP so far(used Airtel, Reliance and Tata photon in past but had to change as their fixed line did not have connectivity / reach in the areas I moved to in past).
So please ask them to do a demo of connection in your area before you go ahead and invest 1500 Rs in the dongle. If they are successful to get the money out of your pocket, you are on your own after that.
