TO HARIHAR NAGAR is latest Malayalam comedy flick to hit the theatres in Kerala, TamilNadu, Bangalore and the middle east. This is the continuing story of the first part IN HARIHAR NAGAR released almost 16 years back. TO HARIHAR NAGAR, already is set to become a mega hit, if the intial response of this kind continues. The music however is not new. Its just the remix of the old movie.except for the final song(again the same lyrics). The previous movie songs were composed by S.Balakrishnan, whose songs were super duper hit in the 90’s. Alex Paul has taken the job this time with just the responsibility of remixing the old ones with addition of some lines in English in Ekantha chandrike song. Alex paul’s work is just average. The English part sung by girls is dissappointing . Alex paul has tried to lift from an Enrique Iglesias song.
As any music lover I thought S.Balakrisnan’s original scores were better. Although Alex Paul didn’t make a mess of the whole thing, he didn’t grab thgis opportunity and rise to the occasion. One more disgusting fact was that the original composer S.Balakrishnan was not mention anywhere in the film, thereby totally forgetting him.
