I admit it. I love to shop. Am always looking for music or electronics or even things to give for gifts.
It is so much easier for me to sit at the computer and find just what I am looking for without walking through store after store. It also saves a lot of time and I lead a very hectic life so I enjoy shopping from my chair.
There are so many great places to buy from, those you will have to discover yourself according to your taste. I buy many things from e-bay as many of these dealers have brand new things and it saves me a lot of money.
The drawbacks of online shopping is you need to plan in advance as you will have to wait for things to be delivered. Most places are very fast but if you need a gift for tomorrow you should go to a brick and mortar store. If you don’t need the item for a week or two then by all means online shopping is the best.
Make sure the site you use is a secure one as you will have to give your credit card number. You should also have your computer security high. My best advice is fill out the order and print it then call the company and order that way so you don’t have to give your info online.
If you do any points programs such as my points be sure to go through the site to get to the online store as you will earn points for this too. Many places do this and the points can be redeemed for prizes.
To avoid returns make sure the description and picture is what you want. If there are any questions you have still, call the company first and find out the rest of the details.
Certain things I would not recommend ordering online such as clothing as sizes vary and you can’t try them on first so you may not be satisfied with your purchase.
If an item is a bit more online than in the store you are still saving money with gas expense for your car and you are saving much time which could also mean saving money.
