I have lost an amount of Rs.6405.96 from my Paytm Wallet. As per the confirmation from Paytm cyber team the transaction was done by a fraudster on Ebay on 07/03/2016 13:46:55 . I didn’t receive any SMS confirmation from Paytm when the transaction happened and hence it is clearly understood that somebody from Paytm assisted in emptying my wallet. It has been more than three months and they have not yet refunded the money.(Ticket numbers - 118040209 and 95840).
Every time I complain to them, they ask me to get it resolved by contacting EBay directly whereas it is very clear that its not eBay companies fault but Paytm is solely to be blamed for the fraudulent transaction. I have lodged a Police complaint against Paytm already. My advice is please don’t go by the cashback offers as suddenly one day your wallet will be emptied by Paytm in the garb of some fraudulent transaction and they will put the blame you for the transaction.
