Purple Haze is loved by probably all Bangalore "rock" fraternity. This benchmark pub has extended wings to 3-4 locations, but Residency road one is still the best.
As your alcohol appetite goes up and up music tempo keeps increasing till you hangaround your neck and need breath from edge. Given opportunity I will rate this "Queen Pub" of India. They play all kinds from 60-70’s to latest Linkin Park fads. Of course if you are looking for underground detah metal likes of Amorphis or Diabolic there wont be many takers not even Childrens of Bodom or Cradle of Filth. But you get rest as "package" - Rob Zombie to Metallica to Iron Maiden.
Beers are excellent and chilled, snacks are upto the mark.....more importantly ambience; LCD screen with decent speakers and lovable crowd! Music blazes from speaker- you feel someone is around you, near yet so far......crawling self sense suggest rock is climbing on your nerves like "dance of deaths." Yeah man- fear of dark in TEMPLE OF PUBS!
