Wrongfully denied Insurance

My Mother was discharged from the Hospital after 3 days in ICU and the cashless was denied by Star Health. I’m 100% sure they will deny the reimbursement as well. This is a very clever and clear plan by Start health to deny insurance.


In my case I had clearly mentioned the pre existing diseases in the proposal form. However, the reason for cashless denial was total nonsense - They are unable to determine since when she had the disease. How does it matter since when she had the disease? In the policy they have clearly mentioned that the pre existing disease will be paid 50%.


I’m very upset about this wrongful denial. I will make sure I file a case in consumer court.
