I still remember the hike prices of 3g and 4g internet connections. I have used airtel, vodafone, etc., and the top up plans were very disturbing for me. I belong from a middle class family and can not always afford to pay 300 400 rs for mobile internet every month, that too net usage was limited. Having a 4g handset and using 2g connection internet feels horrible, as I can not always recharge by spending 500 600 INR for 4 g internet data.
When the jio services hit the market, my nightmares were finally over. Free 4g internet service and unlimited calls for first 3 months was awesome. Other telecom services were also bound to low down their rates. It was a revolution. The whole India is into internet these days. Not only it helped us with the lower charges top ups but also up rise the education level. Even the poor people learnt to surf internet and make a good use of it. It provided internet to every house irrespective of rich or poor. Unlimited calls also helped to stay connected with their love ones even if they are far from each other.
Network is good in the cities, but yes one can suffer disturbance in the outskirts. But no doubt jio is working on this as I have seen the progress. It has been 7 months now, since I m using this service and I m glad that it has made my life simpler than before.
Service is good. You can recharge from home as well as from retailers. If you want to recharge from home, you just need to sit back and open the jio website and proceed further by paying it through cards. Jio also offers some good amount of cashbacks and gift coupons.
Charges are affordable. Recently I recharged my jio with Rs. 454 and I m getting unlimited call to make and 1gb 4g data usage everyday till 84 days. There are many other plans too.
