Let me take you back to 2016 when JIO started and we enjoyed clean. On September 5th 2016 Jio was commercially launched throughout India. I was worried about the demonetization as well as my Exams were on.
In December end My brother bought a new JIO sim card for ?100 and told all the specifications of it, Tat time I was very impressed and I wanted a sim of mine too. Later on we had 3 Airtel and 2 JIO 1 Aircel. In the numbers game the Aircel was out and Another JIO came in.
The Idea behind JIO digital life by Mukesh Ambani, was really great at the time when it was launched.
Later on many problems arise like connectivity issues and calling issues and much more. Leaving the negatives Me and my siblings were just focusing on the positive sides.
The fastest growing network with a debut of 16 Million subscribers within the first month and 130 million at the end of October 2017. This is the fastest ramp up by any mobile operator anywhere in the world.
Now coming to the Network,
As I’m living in Madurai, Tamilnadu, the connectivity issues were more but It resolved very soon.
The network is bearable and at times it just sucks.
Now for the billing and charges:
It started with ?309 and now It’s reached ?499 within a year, as it has achieved so many subscribers and a competition between other data operators.
Now for the benefits:
First it came with 4 GB of data per day then it reduced to 1 GB per day.
Along with all the jio Apps, the benefits are really stunning.
Currently we’re using 4 Jio and 3 Airtel and just to compare the both I prefer Jio,
