However, as per media reports, Jio is likely to offer this affordable high-speed broadband service free for first 3 months.
Company sources say that it will be the most affordable home broadband service that users will ever get.
Another report suggests that the company will launch its broadband services around Diwali, and we can expect another price war in broadband segment.
This is company’s fibre-to-the-home ( FTTH) broadband service. This will also allow you to manage your home and appliances from your smartphone.
Jio Fibre promises broadband speeds of up to 1Gbps, with a minimum speed of 100Mbps. At this speed, one can download a movie in no time.
Just with the news of Jio’s upcoming broadband, Airtel has been revising its plans, recently Airtel introduced 4 plans Rs 1099, Rs 1299, Rs 1499, Rs 1799 in which one can get 1000GB of bonus data for 1 year. While the lowest plans of Rs 899 one can get 750 GB of data for a year.
Earlier to this Airtel also offered double data plans, starting from Rs. 899 plan in Delhi, which offered 30 GB high-speed data earlier, now offering 60 GB data.Rs. 1, 099 plan currently offering 90 GB of high-speed data which offered 50 GB earlier. Rs.1, 299 plan now offers 125 GB which offered 75 GB earlier while Rs. 1, 499 plan offers 160 GB instead of 100 GB. Similar increments in data benefits have been offered at every price point in every city with unlimited calling to any network across all plans.
