I’ve been using Jio for almost 2 years now but with each passing day the services are just getting worse. In an area like Vijay Nagar, Indore, the latency and speed are cringe worthy.
At first, it was only about latency. Used to get average ping of 300ms in PUBG Mobile in Asia servers. Speed was still decent but still not upto the expectations from 4G. I thought that it is usual when playing through mobile network, so I just stopped playing until I could get a better internet connection.
But now, from 2 weeks, I’m getting an average internet speed of 50KBps. I can’t even watch a 480p video without it buffering every minute. Even BSNL 3G was better than this. I was able to watch an HD Video without having to wait for to it buffer every minute.
No satisfactory response from customer care either. They have no idea what they are doing.
If ISPs can’t even provide ideal 4G services in a city like Indore, thinking about launching "5G" in India is just a joke.
