Luring customers with free 4g Internet for half a year not only built a strong fan base for the company but also deteriorate the profits of others. If it was not for mukesh ambani we wouldn’t had thought of going from 1 gb per month to 1 gb per day.
Now that jio has become very popular among the people other companies are trying to hold their customers from turning up to jio by providing them with exciting offers. Unlimited local/std calls has become a mere ordinary offer which allmost every company is offerring, thanks to the jio effect.
It is worth noticing that when airtel first started its 4G services the cost of unlimited Internet for 1 month was rupees 26k and now it has been drastically cutt down to 345. This clearly shows the profit which the companies used to earn because of their overrated data offers.
Ambani has surely played a nice card by establishing jio as a telecom company. Everything seems quite satisfactory, the only thing they can improve upon is the internet speed. Though they rather started well but these days the speed does not seems promising and is certainly appears no match for the likes of bharti airtel sometimes.
