Last one week I have been sending sms to many reliance customers asking either ’’like to be a sms friend ?’’. I send this message to around 20 females and 25 males(10 in Delhi, 10 in mumbai, 8 in Bangalore , 8 in different part of kerala, 9 in different part of Andhra Pradesh). But I got 32 replies. Once I got reply from them either busy , yes etc.. after a friendly chat I asked them whether they are happy with reliance. 29 of them where unhappy with the reliance, only three are happy with reliance because voice clarity is good. I interacted with many peoples while traveling and on my stay at Bangalore and other places most of the customers are unhappy with the RIM. When ever I see a person with a reliance handset I start talking to them and shared their views on reliance India mobile. After a month of study I am
putting up this review in front of you.
1. Unhelpful help line. Customer care peoples are almost like customer. they know as much as customer know. They were not sure or confident on the answer if you stress on your doubts. No proper information are provided to
customers.
2. Interconnectivity problems. Customers are not able to call many part of the country due to ’’congestion in other network’’ (in many case other network is BSNL, but if you try to call from land line there is no problem at all, then how can they blame ’’other network’’ rather than there own)
3. Connection-If we surrender the connection they wont repay 3000 Rs (old customer who taken connection (believing the name Reliance).Cheque submitted for the 3 years get deducted 40 on each cheque if you surrender. Is it
an ethical business ?. if reliance is doing ethical business they should have
returned the amount on surrendering the connection.
4. Roaming- When you reach a new place you get a new number (They are not disclosing how much they charge for that).if your friends call on your old number they get charged for local and you have to pay some amount for incoming call( customer care told me it is 1.90 per minute but I am not sure ).
5. Some part of Kerala. if you call a person on his old number who is on roaming you will get a message saying that ’’Check the number you have dialed”. That means call forwarding are not working in some places.
6. Roaming-When you are on move ( in train/Bus/Flight) you cannot receive or make calls without temporary registration which is useless because your temporary registration take some time to get activates, some case you will be out of that service area by that time.
7. Lost/Theft- If you lose your so called insured handset you have to pay 3500 Rs for getting a new handset.
8. 40 Ps per min call-Possible only if your friends, relatives and well wishers have reliance india mobile. A simple logic, suppose you make calls only to reliance india mobile network(40 ps per minute) how much you have to pay? monthly charges are 600 talk time is 400 minutes, which cost(600/400) 1.50 Per minute.
9. If you make a call outside the reliance network you have to pay interconnect charge which will not deduct from your free 400 minutes worth talk time.
10. R -world- Most of the time unavailable. To watch a video of 15 seconds you need to be connected on to the network for around 35 seconds From the time you start selecting the song to the time you watch the complete video
or finish listening to the entire audio record. This is a part of the 400 free minutes. . in between any of your friends call you he get engage tone. it is good if you bought the Phone for watching movies and audios. good news is that before correcting the problems they are planning to charge it from October(how much you have to pay god only knows).
11. As of now there is no way to know how much talk time you used and how much left for the month.
12. Billing-Billing has started before implementing a fool proof network system. customer is unaware of their last 3 months bill.
13. Call counters provided on handset to know talktime starts as soon as you press call button regardless of connection. When you receive a call that also add up to the call duration.
14. In Planner Alarm does not work properly.
15. Video and picture clarity in black and white handsets are pathetic.
16. Video streaming are not fast enough. You can not see a movie clip as a movie clip you will see it as frame by frame advancement of pictures.
17. Hand set battery heat up on long talking hours.Battery charges drain out faster than normal mobile phone of same kind.
18. One advantage SMS is free. But where you can send ? from where you can receive ? You can send to airtel network in Ap.But you you can not receive from them. So you can send messages to reliance customers. that keep you
away from the majority.
In my personnel experience I am telling you, if you have enough money to shell out go for reliance. Because now I am suffering, it is like a snake on my neck very difficult to throw out. If I decided to surrender I will lose 3000
plus 40 Rs from each check. If I plan to continue I will be a loser for 3 long years. Decide yourself . If you want a freedom from operator opt for some other operator which you can leave at any time without losing much heart and money.

TATA Mobile Phone : Rs 5625.00
Walkman : Rs 650.00
Portable 5 inch TV : Rs 7000.00
AFTER ALL THESE THREE ITEMS ARE OWN PROPERTY IMMEDIATLY AFTER PURCHACE
Think twice before get into this mess.
