I am an ardent fan of this program and always felt that it’s standard was really high. I watched the second semi final (male) for teh global hunt and was so disappointed. The judges Jagjit and Chitra singh gave the guy Salman (from pakistan) the first prize though Ajay (the doctor from US) and Omkar (from India) were far far better.
In fact Salman was no comparission. Someone who sings ’’suarj kab door kiran se’’ from Karan Arjun in a semi classical round doesnt deserve to win in Sa Re Ga Ma.
Jagjit Singh who is a Padma Vibhushan should have shown some more integrity. I wonder if this is a part of the ’’India-Pakistan’’ friendship campaign or is it simply because Zee TV wants to increase it’s viewership in Pakistan.
Whatever the reasons here is one more TV Program that has let us down.
