CLive Cussler is a master story teller. He weaves his tales with a certain amount of imagination, intrigue and magic, which leaves the readers breathless at the end of it all. His stories have a memorable character who goes by the name of Dirk Pitt. This man, the operations director of NUMA, is assisted in his capers by Al Giordino.Then there are other regular characters like Admiral Sandecker, Gunn and Julius Perlmutter.
Sahara is yet another thriller from Cussler. It starts of with a thwarted assasination of a beautiful U.N.Scientist who is investigating a disease that is driving many North Africans to madness, cannibalism and death.The suspected cause is pollution on large scale which threatens to eliminate all life in seas.The person behind this mess is a person known as Scorpion.His job is getting rid of toxic waste.He is assisted in this by an evil general, Zateb Kazim.
Thus begins an adventure, which takes you to Western Sahara and other places. Telling you all what happens next would be a rotten thing on my part. This story also takes into account two stories, one featuring a tale of Abraham Lincoln, which is almost beleivable. Friends, read one of cusslers books, and You’ll always want to be part of Dirk Pitt’s adventures.
