Schwarzkopf is a leading international brand that offers a wide range of premium quality hair care products. Being one of my most favorite and trusted hair care brand, I love experimenting new products in their hair care range. Of late, I noticed my hair has started drying out and breaking off at the ends and it was time to find a professional remedy. So a couple of weeks back, I bought SCHWARZKOPF BC REPAIR RESCUE SHAMPOO from one of the Health & Glow Stores in Bangalore.
Here in this review I’m going to list what I liked or disliked the most about this shampoo.
PROS:
i) The shampoo comes in a sleek long white opaque bottle with a flip-open cap for smooth and easy application.
ii) It has a nice mild fragrance that is not too overwhelming.
iii) It has a creamy and smooth texture with a bit runny consistency which can be easily spread.
iv) The shampoo lathers quite well and it makes my scalp and hair look and feel a lot cleaner and free from dirt and excessive oil.
v) After every wash, it makes my hair look silky, smooth and a lot more manageable.
vi) The shampoo can be easily rinsed off with water without leaving any residue on the scalp or hair.
vii) It has also helped reduce my hair-fall to a certain extend.
viii) After regular use, I can see drastic improvement in my hair texture.
ix) A small coin-sized amount is sufficient enough for a luxurious hair wash. The 250 ml bottle can easily last for 2- 3 months whereas the 1250 ml huge bottle can easily last for a year.
x) The shampoo is easily available at almost all salons and major e-commerce sites.
CONS:
i) Price is a little on the higher side but since the shampoo can last for quite some time, I feel the price factor can be ignored.
ii) The shampoo has a bit runny consistency and so if not careful, it may lead to product wastage.
iii) Since the bottle is non-transparent, it’s difficult to keep track of the quantity left.
iv) Has quite a load of chemicals.
Overall, I’m extremely happy with the results I achieved with regular use of Repair Rescue shampoo from Schwarzkopf line of hair care products. And I’d recommend it to anyone who is looking for a salon professional shampoo that would reduce hair damage and dryness, especially if you have undergone any chemical hair treatment like straightening, re-bonding, coloring etc.
