I recently bought t610 as I wanted to have blue tooth connectivity so I can use internet on my laptop. After nokia n-gage this is the cheapest phone available in the market which has the blue tooth connectivity. So instead of going for nokia n-gage I went for t610.
Now this T610 has plenty of free resources available on internet like games, themes, ring tones, wallpapers, screen savers etc. for free of course. visit https://myt610.com for this free stuff. This phone supports all type of connectivity like blue tooth, infra red, usb etc. also this has wap browser, email client, mms and all the other misc. features required. The phone has 12 icons for the menu which are pretty good. The keypad is also good.
The camera on the other hand is not as good as other phones available in the market. If you can see my pic then it has bee taken through this phone. The blue tooth connectivity is fairly well I get upto 10 KB/sec using my Hutch GPRS connection.
The voice is pretty fine in this phone. Network is also fine. One other problem is that I don’t see any volume control for speaker in the phone. It gets too low automatically whenever I receive a call. I think people won’t like this as you have to turn up the volume every time you get a call. Besides this I like this phone very much. Its very easy to connect to computer not much configuration is required and drivers are also easily available.
Battery is also good I charge it every night and it keeps on working till night ..i use blue tooth, receive calls etc. and battery seems to be pretty stable. The ring tone sound is pretty good several options are also there to play like: Call management which lets you configure from which number you want to receive call or not etc. This can become pretty handy when you want to avoid someone! :-p
If you’re buying this phone then I suggest you go for a second hand one as a pretty good one can be get for as low as Rs 7000.00 with 8-10 months warranty & bill. And after using 6-8 months you can dispose it off for Rs. 5500-6000.00 pretty good eh ?!
