The Sony w810i is a cut above the regular phones in several places.
Sony has married the w800i with the k750i and the combo is electrifying; it has all the capability of the K 750i and the walkman sound capability of the W550i and the W800i.
In Bangalore its priced around 17000/- approx.
It has a 2 megapixel camera which does faily ferakout job in its own right. I use my K750i if I need a pic in a jiffy thereafter I can touch it up in Photoshop if needed. The sound part is tooo good. take it out on a spin and you will be amazed.!!! I am yet ot see the Nokia N series witha any of my friends but I will always vote for Sony now.
Earlier I was a staunch fan of Nokia nad used Nokia in the past 7 years odd since mobiles became affordable in India. It was when I decided to buy a new handset after I lost my dependable Nokia 1100 that I decided to go for a Nokia 6270 or a K750i
There is only one draw back that I can think of - the camera lens does not have a protective cover like in the K750i.That is in essence the only drawback thatI can think of.
If you are looking for a camera, an mp3 player, a video player and add to that hte sound of a Sony walkman and a memory capacity scalable to2GB using a Memory Stick Pro Duo which in turn can be used with a card reader and hooked toaPC for file transfer and all this for about 17K !!!!!
