The Star Health Insurance ltd company is the joint venture family insurance policy plan. It is seen that this is the totally fraud insurance company. My uncle from jodhpur had this policy for last 5-6 years and paying yearly installment. Recently he was admitted to Goyal hospital as a fresh case of Diabetes. He had spent quite a large amount for his treatment. After the discharged from hospital he claimed the expenditure as per the policy conditions.
At the time of taking policy, the insurance staff agent was so good and motivated in such a way that no problems will come in the future and if required everything will be settled within no time.
When the claim was submitted the concerned person had made many mistakes like outdoor bills are not valid, high room charges and few bills are of more amount which are not possible for full payment.
After submitting reimbursement,
several times we attended their quarries, again they asked to produce some related medical papers and we fulfilled all their requirements. They took long time in process and after our hard and long struggle we could get only half of the money of our claimed amount.
So I suggest, better to avoid this policy insurance plan because their agents are very claver, they will make many stories and take you nicely in the grip but you will not be benefitted at the time of your requirements.
