GREAT BIKE. I own a GS150R. it’s really rocking.
the bike is way ahead of pulsar/apache in terms of comfort, mileage, value for money, .
the engine balancer technology is great. u can hardly feel any vibrations.
6th gear & speedo(with gear shift indicator), cool and rocking. u can’t find in any other INDIAN BIKE.(except R15. but it’s to race).
Styling: Biiiiiiiiiigggggggggg Fuel tank. makes the bike look large and majestic. Makes the ride DISTINCT in EVERY ROAD.
Braking: Good, But not the greatest.
Mileage: Decent 50-55 Kmpl.(i usually drive around 55-60 kmph), still good for a 150cc bike.(some even get 60+)
Headlight, tyres, tubes, battery, tail lamps: very good.
parts, accessories: Fair(changed SPROCKET SET(1), Sprocket Rubber(2), Brake Shoe(1) in 15 months).
bcz I drive almost around 75Kms daily.
Pros: 6th Gear, Speedo, Engine Balencer, Good Mileage, Drive comfort, Ride Quality.
cons: Size(only for small guys), only few serrvice centres, average servicing, rusting of some parts(saree guard, battery holder, number plates)
Performance:
Top speed: good top-end speed. I attained 116Kmph till now. it’s ease to cross 100Kmph.
Initial Pick-up: initial pick up is average. but it has a great mid-range pickup.
Handling: Very good bcz of its added weight. which makes it stiff on the road. but the same becomes an issue in heavy traffic bcz of the added weight and the huge size.
Ppl this’s my 1st comment & I’m writing this comment after owning GS for almost 15months(18, 000Kms done).
I think I listed all the+ves & -ves.
Bottom Line: GS 150R ROCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.
WORTHYYY for the Hard Earned Money.
