Just taken delivery of a brand new Indica Vista Quadrajet on 29th October 10. I’ve chosen the Aura model, which has Power steering / power windows / central locking / rear wiper / 2 din stereo / driver seat height adjust and adjustable lumbar support.
The Quadrajet is fantastic value-for-money : After using an Indigo for five years, the smooth revving Quadrajet plus the Eurtech gearbox has finally brought the much-needed change to the driving experience.
Fit’n’finish is vastly improved as compared to the earlier generation of Indica / Indigo. Also space is vastly increased, with a lot of leg room / elbow room / wider body.
NVH levels are also much improved and the car is very silent : once its warmed-up, its difficult to tell its a diesel-engine vehicle.
Superb ride / handling, excellent pick-up, already getting an average of 14 km/litre with A/C in the city, even during the running-in period.
The front end looks nice : the rear is (in my opinion) too much like the earlier generation Indica / could have been better designed like the Punto.
