In the year 1995 John Conner and his Mom Sarah Conner are saved by The Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger). We fast forward to the future. John Conner is in his twenties. He has erased all possible record databases which can lead anyone to him. He is virtually jobless and earns his living by doing odd jobs. HE has no Social Security number, no phone connections, no credit card or bank accounts. Sky Net has now gone global in a very big way. It is in a position where it can control all the machines and computer systems of the world. (Although I think that idea is a little far fetched but, heck anything can happen, especially in a movie). Sky net has send a very advanced machine till date, T-X (Kristanna Loken) in to the past to Erase John Conner(Nick Stahl), a Vetenarian, Kate Brewster (Claire Danes) who is to be John’s Wife. If T-X manages to perform the mission successfully, the machines can rule the future. Once again, a terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is send to protect Jon and Kate. The Constant cat and mouse chase continue between T-X and The Terminator. In the end John learns something which will change his life and that of human race forever. A Very good sequel although not as gripping as Terminator - 2 (Which many consider one of the best movie sequels along with Toy Story - 2 and Godfather - 2). The Special Effects are good and so is the cinematography and Sound. All the actors have given a good performance but the movie could have still cut out a good 10 minutes. (Especially towards the climax when the terminator keeps banging the car bonnet). Worth a watch for Schwarzenegger fans.

1) A budget of 170 million dollars was approved for the film. This is the highest budget approved for any film made in the world till date. 30 million of which went for Arnie’s Salary. There have been many big budget films, but all of them (including The Titanic) have gone over budget after a certain point of time.
2) Edward Furlong was considered for John Conner but it was eventually given to Nick Stahl on account of continuous drug problems with Furlong.
3) Female wrestler Chyna was once considered for the role of T-X. So Were Vin Diesel and Shaquille O’Neil.
4) James Cameroon originally wanted to direct the film
along with a sequel for True Lies. Both The movies were planned way back in 1999. Then True Lies - 2 got shelved and he decided to write the Terminator - 3 and eventually backed out of that too. His name is not given in the credit although technically he is still considered the writer as the character names of the previous two films are still used.
5) The T-X was originally called the T-1G. At one point The T-X was going to be a male Terminator.
6) Ang Lee (Director of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon) was offered to direct the film, but turned it down to direct The Hulk instead.
7) Kristanna Loken Put on nearly 8 KGs in weight for the role and went for special mime classes to prepare for the facial expressions in the film. She had barely 5 lines of dialogues.
8) The famous line ’’Get out!’’ is said in all three films. The other more famous ’’I’ll be back.’’ and ’’Come with me if you want to live’’ Lines are not used.

Oops -
1) Some Details of the previous movies have been ignored or forgotten. According to records seen in Terminator - 2 set in 1995, John Connor was born in 1985, making him 10, not 13 as he says in this movie. Sarah Conner’s grave lists her birth year as 1959. In Terminator 2, which takes place in 1995, the doctor at the mental ward said she was 29, which would mean she was born in 1966.
