Went to watch the movie only because I am a Johnny Depp fan. Love his style and watch "Pirates...." movies everytime it comes on TV. His dead-pan humor is typical Depp. Having said that, the one thing that I thought wasted was Helena Bonham Carter - catch her in The Kings Speech if you havent. Having said that, if one were to compare Django as a movie with a similar theme, Django would stand out for the Tarantino trademark of blood and gore. The music and background score is good. One thing to be faulted with the movie is the jumpy style of events, which take a little getting used to. Do watch it if you are a Depp fan. Otherwise - if you want a Wild West movie,
Clint Eastwood oldies or Sudden books are the best bet. Cheers.
