I received a call from Datawind asking if I had booked Aakash Tab which I had booked 3 years back. Then they said you’d get 7C+Edge calling tablet for only Rs. 3, 300 and I agreed.
To my surprise I received Ubislate 7CZ(last saturday on 21st June) instead of 7c+edge and it is supposed to be higher version and better product. I was happy to see it . But when I opened the product and used it I found that the earpiece is not working and I can’t use it for making and receiving calls without headphones.
When I called up the person who had called me about the offer, Rohini from new Dahisar, she said Data wind has just hired them for delivery of products and I should call their data center. I’ve been calling Data center number 0183-258-1330 since morning but there is no reply. Also, they have not replied to my mail sent on techsupport@datawind.com
I feel they are intentionally pushing defective products and cheating customers luring them with low price tag. MRP of 7CZ in 5999/- and they sent it to me for 3, 300/- with tax that too when I had confirmed my order for 7c+edge.
