I like to transfer SB account to other branch but she told to surrender cheque book and passbook first and then she told your account number will remain the same i cant understand if the account number will be same then why should i surrender my pass book .

With effect from 24 Jan 2011 HDFC will charged 1 % penalty on the Principal amount of premature Fixed Deposits. Switch To IDBI BANK for zero balance saving account

Exactly bill payment and debit cards which are free in almost all banks . HDFC charges Rs 200 for the free facility . Bill payment which is a free service provided by bill desk

kindly read economic times for right information . people still think that RBI rules are strictly followed by banks. {DOD} . If he tried the transaction of below Rs 10000 then he must have got the money instead of rs 23000

may be u dont know that only Rs 10000 per day is allowed to be withdrawn from third party ATMS

recently a similar case happen in mumbai two clients of icici bank lost Rs 75000 due to fake website OF ICICI . Never apply for third party transfer.

Yes why to take a credit card for just 35 days credit period , unusual charges and so much tension . Debit card is the best u can decide your own credit limit
