Hello Pras, I think its still undecided as to who's to give its music. The script itself is yet to be finalised, with all the historical accuracies n all. Hope its ARR. Maybe after composing a string of modern day melodies might make him cater to period films again. Cheers, Sriraam.

I dunno why, but Taal never clicked for me. Might just be a personal difference in taste. And yeah, after Mangal Pandey, ARR did state that he nolonger is open to period films. He says its a waste of time as the end product, after the editing, doesn't make it worthwhile. Just not sure, I'd love t read more...

Hello cc22, For me, I guess Sarkar comes close to liking AB Jr. as an actor. Have seen the likes of Bunty Aur Babli where he was decent. Great review there Suresh as always :-) Just the one point of disagreement wherein Soona Man Ka Aangan for me was a better duet than Piyu Bole but each to his own. Hello Sanketh, Agreed. Yet he is new to Bolywood relatively. And for a director of southern music to come up with a brilliant album, and abum which needs a northern flavour is commendable. He had directed Sur and Jism before, yet this one seems completely different and fresh. Cheers! :-)

Hello Suresh, you seem to have a good reading when it comes to songs. Nice review there. Azadi is the pick of the lot along with Ekla Chalo. Still not the best of ARR. I would say a step behind Lagaan, Dil Se, for starters, yet brilliant to say the least. I guess that's the class of the great man.

Loads of things that we agree on Vishal, good review. But I feel many claims about Oscar seems premature, although by no means unrealistic. A crossover movie in the true sense, a great display of the art of film-making.
