So go by your need. Buying a disel engine seems to be the norm of the day without people giving it a thought, i mean that is more of a emotionally driven decision than a logical one. If you drive around 50- 60 kms a day or say 1000kms per month, go for the diesel engine, else go for a petrol engine. read more...

Again i Agree with Kps ....Fiat is like a Rock of Gibralter....and also FIAT gives guarante for its engine upto 1,50,000 Kms whereas niether Indica Vista nor Swift Disel comes any way closer to it(They give it for 80,000 Kms)...The suspension for Fiat are World class and i was talking to one of the read more...

whereas the same is absent to large extent in Maruti..so that makes me say that FIAT is a lot more safer than MAruti any day...and God forbidding...as of now any fiat vechile that has encountered in an accident has not got any major casualities and the reason for it being its TANK like built...
