I ve used and owned maruti 800, premier padmini, maruti van, fiat palio(total about 80,000 kms car driving) and bajaj kb100,pulsar, samurai, hero cd100 and honda shine(total about 1,50,000 kms). driving for 20 years. road trips, driving bikes and cars, researching all indian and some foreign makes. Have some knowledge and driven several foreign cars also. reaad up on all indian vehicle mags, and retain all back issues.

HI WISH U, you could convert a 5 seater, however, you could get into legal trouble with the police and the insurance people, it would be technically be illegal to have more than the permitted no. of passengers. excellent review. even cars break down on potholed roads with 4 people. you are torturing your bike with four! the engine must be gem.
gssmani, the bonnet only contains the jack, fluids such as the coolant and other minor knicknacks, someone infact fitted after market boxes to keep small goods! It appears the bonnet is only to offer crush space as per safety norms. quite practical in fact.
hi prad, the eeco does not have power steering on any of the models and does not even have power windows or music system. It is absolutely bare basic and spartan, meant for the stoic ascetics among us!

i have a shine for about 4 years now, 26000 kms, and had the vibration problem for about 10000 kms. you have to be careful about the petrol pump and it is advisable to ride the bike at high revs to avoid vibration. The irony of this bike is the more you abuse it, the smoother it is. it appears to be read more...
