Thanks a bunch Rohan, for your empathetic comments. Yes, they turned the the seat belt sign on right when it started the free fall. It didn't even take a second for people to respond to the seat belt sign. Since the flight was in cruise mode, there were many without the seat belt on as you would e read more...
