Its upto the individual to have own opinion but the facts remain the same. 1.If some of you think that STB of dishTV has the same quality should compare the overall reception. I fully agree with you. DishTV DVR (KAON) is horrible. I purchased in March,2007. The DVR supplied by DishTV are manufactured 3-4 yrs back and lack the latest hardware and software. It reboots anytime-but not every 5 min. The DVR has ghosty effect when seen on HD TV. I would suggest never buy a DVR read more...
