Off late my unicorn has stopped giving me 60 kmpl nd is instead giving me 49-50 kmpl only.. checked d oil it was fine now i fail to understand wat might be the prob as i even get to ride mostly in 4th & 5th gear.
I hav put shell engine oil this june after my servicing got done. It impressed me beyond measure in it's smoothness nd i transit abt 20 kms a day daily in bangalore nd now it's hell of a rainy season here. Still no complaints whatsoever. Braking is not so efficient in monsoon i just got saved frm a major accident yest wen it was raining nd my rear wheels locked wen i applied d brake gradually at 45kmph.. However ur statement holds true on dry roads. Yes chain loosening has started to be prominent for me too.

U r right ajaymznup i’m sry it was a printing mistake dat i overlooked all these days.. Considering ur claim abt ur mileage mine varies btwn 60- 62 kmpl at present as i ride maximum in 4th nd 5th gear these days.
Which city do u live in? nd wat kinds of conditions r prevalent thr? if ur bike is being ridden in extreme conditions or fitted with performance modifications like k&n filters nd other such products which makes u wanna rip ur bike then it'll effect the mileage. see dat u dnt hav extra fat tires fitt read more...

Thoda aur details dete agar to acha hota.. ye to advertisement dek ke pata chal jaayaega.. it's more helpful if u could give more info coz i was really lukin frwd 4 a nice informative review on my unicorn's successor..
In city i get around 58-60 but on highways it goes upto 65. Again it all depends on maintenance.
