Hi Dilip u r right about the chip defect on this sereies of HP laptops and all the Laptops that r currently using the same display chip (Nvidia 6150). Nvidia has already admitted to a bug on 6150 which over heats it and results in motherboard failure (usually power on but no display).Companies like read more...

Its a useless laptop which has a defective display chip nvidia 6150. Nvidia has already admitted to a bug in its 6150 chipset which causes it to overheat. I know of at least two ppl who have had to get the motherboard replaced (Cost After warranty Rs.16,000 approx. Already the motherboard on one of read more...
