Update on 44,000km - The car is running well after changing clutch plate & gear synchronizer together which costed around 9000. No problem yet in last 10,000 km after the repair. recently done the Delhi - Munsiyari trip driving almost 750kms on hills.

Your friend is lucky that he has faced the problem at around 80k km. For me it has come at 26k km. Then re-appeared at 32k km. Now waiting for parts for the repair work.

Hi kbonkur, Chevy Enjoy and Ertiga has the same 1248cc engine from FIAT. Enjoy has got less power and torque fitted with a FGT whereas Ertiga has got more power and torque fitted with a VGT. If you opt for extended warranty then you will get warranty up to 60K km. This is a standard warranty for all Maruti car ..... nothing special for Ertiga. This same Engine is being used in GM Enjoy also .... with a reduced peak power & torque ...... so I don't think the power and Engine life will b read more...

I am using swift Vdi for last 5yrs & 6months. It has now covered 95,000 km. I have never clutch or gear box problem. The first clutch change was at 83,000 km and that was also on my request to service station, means the clutch didn't failed by that time. I guess your comments are base less.

The visibility issue will be resolved with time, it is just an adjustment with a new car. I also had same visibility problem at the beginning but within 1-1.5 month everything became fine.
