Folks, I decided to take a weekend drive down to Mysore last weekend (14/06/09). I must admit, the good old mysore road has lost it charm. The traffic that you have to encounter is crazy. Obviously, the traffic constituted people like me who wanted to hit the road. Four lanes at some places have been reduced to 2 lanes, thx to the construction in progress. Wading your way through the oncoming traffic at places like this is something that is such a kill-joy. And not to mention the traffic jam!!!!

I always related mysore road to a nice long stretch where you can enjoy the drive without being much bothered about the traffic and also on-coming traffic to be specific.

Guess I should find another road that will satisfy my hunger for a peaceful and smooth drive. The 'Nice' road should do, but that again comes with a price to pay.
