Farmers protest against forcible land acquisition: Violent protests by farmers against forcible land acquisition. Almost all opposition party leaders watch the agitation and police brutality, sitting in their air-conditioned homes and offices. Statement over statement is given to the press by these political leaders hoping to gain TRP in political arena. Sharad Yadav [Janata Dal (United)], Rajnath Singh (BJP), Shiv Pal (SP) and Mohan Singh were detained by police along with their supporters when they tried to proceed towards Greater Noida where prohibitory orders have been clamped following Saturday's violence.

Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi early on Wednesday visited the Bhatta Parsaul village in Uttar Pradesh's Greater Noida that has seen violence by farmers over land acquisition, leading to four deaths. According to a state Congress leader, Rahul Gandhi reached the village at 6 00 AM. Joining the farmers' agitation against the Mayawati government, Rahul Gandhi sat on a dharna at the epicenter of recent violence in this district after he entered the village riding pillion on a motorcycle giving the local police a slip before dawn on Wednesday. Later the NEWS are broadcasted over TV, Radio and published in News Papers:

BJP leader L.K. Advani goes to the extent of appreciating Rahul’s role in the on-going farmer agitation in Greater Noida, saying anyone supports the cause of peasants is doing good for them. That’s nothing new. L.K. Advani keeps praising Congress more than the BJP. At times one fails to understand, if he is from the BJP or the Congress Party? Forwarding an apology to Sonia on the issue of Swiss Bank Accounts even when the BJP study group claiming against it, is still weighing heavy in our minds?

One fails to recollect, if ever Rahul, Sonia or Congress Party leaders have ever appreciated the working of any BJP leader, till date. May be its L.K. Advani’s compulsion to save himself from CBI tangle in the Babri Masjid case or to keep in lime light at a time of personal adversity. Some other leaders of the BJP have acted in same manner on other occasions.

Fish Market, contradicting statements, no political agenda, and no political direction, reacting and retreating to the emerging situations. That is the BJP's present day presentations.

ONE THING SEEMS TO BE SURE THAT RAHUL MAY GAIN OR NOT GAIN BY HIS PERSONAL EFFORTS OR CHARISMA, BUT BJP STALWARTS WILL NOT SPARE THE OPPORTUNITY, TO ENSURE HIS GAINS AND RISE TO LEADERSHIP.

BJP SHOULD NOT FORGET THAT BY SITTING, IN AIR-CONDITIONED ROOMS, SHOWERING PRAISES ON THE CONGRESS POLITICAL PARTY LEADERS AND DREAMING ‘INDIA SHINNING’ WILL NOT CARRY THEM FAR. BJP HAS FAILED TO LEARN THE LESSONS FROM THE PAST. MAMTA’s GAME PLANS, RIDING MOTORCYCLES AND CYCLES, SWEATING IN WHITE DHOTI, TO SHAKE UP WEST BENGAL, MAY BE ENOUGH TO GIVE BJP SOME INSIGHT OF PRESENT DAY POLITICS IN INDIA.
