I am sure you must have heard the phrase'Health is wealth.'
Health is the greatest asset any person can have. If you are healthy, you can do anything.
Can one have a healthy body and mind at all times?
yes, that is possible. Because health is a matter of choice. you can choose to be healthy.
But wait. Don't just start doing physical exercise or running. Becoming healthy requires a lot of preparation, planning and time.
Chanakya reveals to us the secret of success in any field of life. He says, to succeed in any field one requires training and discipline.
SET A HEALTH GOAL
Once need to first define what being healthy means to you. It is loosing weight? Or it is getting over some chronic disease which has been affecting you for years? Or is it increasing your stamina.
Once we have defined it, we will have a set goal in mind. But we need to plan how to achieve this goal.
HEALTHY LIVING
"Healthy living" to most people means both physical and mental health are in balance or functioning well together in a person. In many instances, physical and mental health are closely linked, so that a change(good or bad) in one directly affects the other.
HEALTHY LIFESTYLE TIP
1 Awake early in the morning.
2 Evacuate bowels and bladder after awakening.
3 Do not repress the natural urges of the body example: urination, coughing, sneezing, passing gas etc.
4 Pranayamas(A type of Meditation) or yoga asanas in the morning or evening(empty stomach) create freshness of mind and body.
5 Wash your hands before and after eating.
6 Eat a variety of foods and seasonal fruits.
7 Reduce salt and sugar intake.
8 Eat the smallest portion that can satisfy hunger and don't overeating.
9 Drink plenty of water so, toxins will remove from your body.
10 Avoid eating large meals before sleeping because it doesn't digest properly.
11 Drinking water immediately before or after taking food adversely affects digestion.
12 Excess intake of cold drinks(slow poison) is very harm full for your health.
13 Brush teeth after meal.
14 Fifteen minutes after meals take a short walk.
15 Eat in silence with awareness of food.
16 Eat slowly and chew your food properly.
17 Fast 1 day a week to help reduce toxins in the body.
