140,000 Tucson SUVs are to be recalled by Hyundai Motors in Puerto Rico and the United States due to a defect in the airbag assembly.

Few vehicles belonging to model years 2011 – 2014 will be recalled – total of 137,500 units in the US and 3,500 in Puerto Rico.

As per a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report, 2 bolts fastening the driver’s airbag and the steering wheel may turn loose, possibly causing injury to the driver in case of vehicle crash.
